Grodno. Kaletsky's house.
In Grodno, on Karl Marx Street (number 19) in the historical center, there is an old 19th-century building - the Kaletsky House. The building has the status of historical and cultural value. The monument was erected during the time of the Russian Empire in 1890 in the eclectic style. The building is stone, two-storied, plastered.
It has a U-shape together with the wing. The facades have decorative decorations. There is an arched passage near the center of the building. There are two cast iron balconies on the main facade. In the courtyard of the building there is an outbuilding-a stone two-storey, plastered building.
At the end of the 19th century, the building housed various government offices. In 1894, the factory inspection and the headquarters of the 26th Infantry Division worked. The department of the judicial investigator of the second precinct was also located here in 1895. In 1911, Alexander Turchinovich's apartment was located in the building.
After the revolution, Asher Hazan's candy store and bakery operated since 1919. After the Peace of Riga in 1921, Grodno passed to the Polish state. During this period, the house belonged to Appenberg.
Now there is a hairdresser, a perfume shop and other establishments.
