Grodno. Ginzburg House (Karl Marx Street, 21).

     The Ginzburg House is located in the historical center of Grodno on Karl Marx Street (number 21). During the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the street was called Ozerskaya, and during the time of the Russian Empire, Merchant Street, as there were many shops and merchants here.

          The Ginzburg House was built in 1900. It has the status of historical and cultural value. The building is stone, two-storied and plastered. The decorations and decor on the front facade have been partially preserved. Part of the decoration was lost during the major renovation of the building. An authentic cast-iron balcony has been preserved in the center of the house. The house housed shops and residential apartments.

           After the Peace of Riga in 1921, Grodno passed to the Polish Republic until 1939, before the arrival of Soviet troops. During the Polish period, the Benjamin Hasin store operated in the building.

          The building now houses the 'Marco' shoe store.
