The main pride and famous landmark of the city of Mosty is the pedestrian bridge, which is the longest in Belarus. The length of the bridge is about 193 meters.
In the city of Mosty, the suspension bridge has become a favorite place for locals. Some connoisseurs consider it the most attractive attraction in the city. Its appearance stands out against the background of the typical architecture of Belarus. In addition, it is a great place to create memorable and atmospheric photos.

The longest suspension pedestrian bridge in Belarus.
The main pride and famous landmark of the city of Mosty is the pedestrian bridge, which is the longest in Belarus.
This suspension bridge is certainly a symbol of the city. Built in 1972, it connected the two parts of the city, replacing a boat crossing and a pontoon bridge.
In the mid-90s, the bridge was reconstructed: the wooden covering was replaced, new railings and cables were installed.
In May 2024, a large-scale reconstruction began, as a result of which part of the bridge was made of glass. The structure of the old bridge was dismantled, updating the suspension bridge by 95%. Only the pylons remained of the old ferry, which were completely sheathed with new metal.
On May 2, 2025, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the grand opening of the renovated suspension bridge over the Neman River took place. This event was long-awaited for the residents of the city. The forest park area, beloved by the townspeople, begins directly next to the bridge, continuing on the other side of the river. The Mosty residents were looking forward to when the bridge would connect the shores again, and they were sympathetic to the construction work, watching the birth of a unique structure – such a long, modern and beautiful pedestrian bridge, the only one of its kind in the country.
The supporting structure of the bridge is a two-chain, single-span suspension system with an uncut stiffness beam. The pedestrian part is made of a decking, complemented by glass elements. The bridge is about 193 meters long and 1.6 meters wide. Approximately 450 lamps provide lighting for the bridge.
