Grodno. Dlugach House (Karl Marx Street, 15).

           In Grodno, on Karl Marx Street (number 15), the Dlugach House was built in the historical center. The building has the status of historical and cultural value and is located at the intersection with Socialist Street. The monument was erected during the time of the Russian Empire in 1885. The building is stone, two-storied and plastered. 

          The decor on the front facade was not preserved and was lost during the reconstruction of the house. Two authentic cast iron balconies have been preserved in the center of the monument. There are also ancient basements that apparently belong to an older former building.

        In 1903, the 'Rossiya' Insurance Company was located here. There was the apartment of Dr. Fabian Epstein.

       After the Riga Peace of 1921, Grodno came under Polish control by 1939, before the arrival of Soviet power. In the 1920s, Shloma Mashavitsky's haberdashery store operated in the building. In 1928, there was a shoe store selling shoes by Yosel Matsulski. There was a shop for tourists by Shloma Mashavitsky and a candy store by Milna Bal.

        After the Great Patriotic War, the shoe store "Children's Shoes" was located here, and then the 'Stationery' store.

        Now there are several shops and organizations in the building: a legal consultation, a wedding salon, a lawyer and other institutions.
