Grodno. Tsilya Bulkovshtein's house.

In the city of Grodno, along Karl Marx Street (house number 6), there is a stone building known as the Tsilya Bulkovshtein House. The house was built during the Russian Empire in 1873 and has the status of historical and cultural value.

The building was also heavily damaged during the fire of 1885 and was rebuilt in an eclectic style. There is a version that the house was built by Yudel Soloveitchik.

The decor has been preserved on the front facade of the building. Part of the decoration was destroyed during the overhaul. Two balconies have been preserved. But they are significantly changed.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the building housed the apartment of a private attorney S. Pavlovich and a hairdresser M. Gotkin.

After the Peace of Riga in 1921, Grodno became part of the Polish state until the coming of Soviet power in 1939. During this period, A. Rosa's dairy store and S. Diment's restaurant worked here in the building.

After the Great Patriotic War, shops and institutions worked in this house: shop No. 11 "Gorpishchetorg", a bookbinding workshop, a subscription store and a discount store.

Now there is a 'Serpentine' furniture store and a 'California' hairdresser.
