Description
There is an architectural monument in Grodno on K. Marx Street, which is known as the Abramsky House. The building was built in 1861. Until 1882, there was a photo workshop of Ivan Sadovsky. Then Yakov Soloveitchik's photo studio worked. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building housed the bureau of the Baltic Insurance Company and the Anchor Insurance Agency, an agency of the Russian Transport and Insurance Company.
After the war, the regional Construction Trust, the DOSAAF regional committee, Gorpishchetorg and the newspaper editorial office worked in the house. Shops and organizations are currently operating in the building.

Grodno. Karl Marx Street. The Abramsky House.
In Grodno, on K. Marx Street (bld. number 11), there is an architectural monument known as the Abramsky House. The building is a two-story stone building, built during the Russian Empire in 1861.
Until 1882, the photo workshop of Ivan Ivanovich Sadovsky was located here. Then the photo studio of Yakov Isaakovich Soloveitchik worked. And then his son Osip Soloveitchik continued the work. After the fire, master Soloveichik moved to live and work in Belostok, where he became one of the best photographers.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the building housed the bureau of the Baltic Insurance Company and the Yakor Insurance Agency, the Agency of the Russian Transport and Insurance Company, and the office of the St. Petersburg Capital Fire Insurance Association.
During the time of the Polish state, the owner of the building, Jozef Frank, lived in Warsaw, the capital. During this period, Rubinova's gymnasium was operating in the house, there was an apartment of Dr. M. Epstein, there was a beer hall of Mikhail Sidransky and other institutions.
After the Great Patriotic War, the regional Construction Trust, the DOSAAF regional committee, Gorpishchetorg and the newspaper editorial office were located in the house.
Numerous shops and organizations are currently operating in the building.
