Mogilev. Zoo.

The zoo was opened in May 2005. It was created thanks to the efforts of teachers and students of the Mogilev Forestry College, who equipped a large area in the forest zone for the zoo. Today, you can walk along special pedestrian routes and see various representatives of the fauna.

The zoo is a great place for family recreation! The territory of the zoo is not small, quite pleasant and beautiful, a lot of greenery. There are wonderful recreation areas - benches, swings, gazebos. In good weather you can stay here for a few hours. Parking is free, entrance is paid.

The animal enclosures are quite spacious, and you can get a good look at each inhabitant.

Here you can not only admire the amazing animals, but also feed them with special food, cups with which are sold at the entrance. Most of the zoo is occupied by spacious enclosures in which live such animals as bison, red and spotted deer, wild boars, elks, roe deer. In special cages are kept such predators as wolves, foxes, raccoon dogs, lynxes, bears, tigers, lions, pumas. Also in the cages you can see various types of birds - ducks, geese, wood grouse, pheasants, owls, turkeys, ostriches. There is also an artificial pond in which ducks and swans swim, fish.

Every year, the zoo staff tries to expand the collection of animals and equip new areas and recreation zones on the territory.

The highlight of the zoo is a safari on a children's railway for an additional fee. The exciting journey on a children's train lasts about 15 minutes. The path runs through picturesque expanses where herds of bison and deer roam in their natural habitat. You can also see an interesting system of canyons formed during the Ice Age.
