Mogilev. Podnikolye Park.

The territory where the park was founded has a very rich history. It has long been known as Pokrovsky Posad. This is one of the craft quarters of the city, where artisans of various professions lived and worked.

Today Podnikolye is an ideal place to take a leisurely stroll and relax from the daily hustle and bustle. The park area is large and well-maintained. Everyone will find something to do here. There are bicycle paths for those who wish. You can rent electric scooters and ride with the wind throughout the entire territory. The park is equipped with exercise machines where the whole family can exercise. For children, there is a children's town with swings, slides, trampolines; for adults, there are many benches for rest, gazebos, paths for walking and a "health trail", themed areas for photo sessions. For those who want to have a snack, there is a cafe, as well as tents with street food and drinks.

One of the main decorations of the park is a 27-meter-long staircase descent consisting of 250 steps with cascading fountains. The top of the staircase is an excellent observation deck, which offers a magnificent view of the park and its surroundings. The staircase looks especially beautiful with lighting in the evening.

Here in the park various city events, exhibitions, marathons, festivals are held. On the eve of the New Year, enterprises and organizations of Mogilev compete in the best holiday decoration, installed by each of them in the park.

The park contains two important historical and cultural monuments: the St. Nicholas Monastery, whose history dates back to the 17th century, and the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God, built on the site of a 17th century church that was lost more than 70 years ago.
