Description
On the embankment of the Dubrovenka River, a unique light and music fountain, opened on June 26, 2026, began to play with new colors. This is not just a water facility, but a real engineering masterpiece that has no analogues in Belarus.
The structure is located directly in the riverbed. Its "highlight" is the technical equipment: 205 pumps and more than 600 lights create a dynamic show where the jets "dance" synchronously with the music, changing height and color.
Thousands of citizens gather to watch this splendor, and the embankment itself, after reconstruction, has turned into a modern recreation area with bike paths and playgrounds. There are sessions in the evenings, and the full light and music performance is especially impressive in the dark. This place instantly became a new point of attraction for residents and visitors of the city.

The "singing" fountain on Dubrovenka: a new point of attraction for Mogilev.
On June 26, 2026, on the City Day, an event took place on the embankment of the Dubrovenka River, which Mogilev residents had been waiting for for two years. Thousands of citizens gathered by the water to witness the opening of a unique light and music fountain, an object that has no analogues in the whole of Belarus.
The fountain structure is installed directly in the Dubrovenka riverbed, 30 meters from the shore. It is a collapsible stainless steel system mounted on concrete foundations. The project was implemented in two stages: first, the river was cleared of long-term deposits, then piles and metal structures were installed, and this year equipment was installed and the embankment was landscaped.
The technical specifications are amazing: 205 pumps, 518 nozzles and more than 600 lights create a dynamic water show. The fountain's power reaches 500 kW, and water jets can soar to a height of up to 25 meters. But the main thing is the harmonious combination of water, light and music, which is controlled by an all-weather speaker system.
The fountain is multi-contoured: jets of different levels "dance" to the beat of the music, and the backlight is synchronized with the rhythm of the melodies. The musical accompaniment includes classical works, modern hits, as well as patriotic songs. At the opening, the fountain "spoke" to Beethoven's "Scherzo" and the song "Mogilev Lights Up".
Work schedule:
Tuesday–Thursday:
· 16:00-18:15 - fountain only (every 15 minutes)
· 19:00-20:15 - fountain + music
· 21:00-23:00 - full-fledged light and music show
Friday–Saturday:
· From 12:00 p.m. - daytime mode
· From 20:00 - light and music show until 23:30
Sunday:
· The show ends at 23:00
Monday is a technical break.
The opening of the fountain was part of a large-scale reconstruction of the entire Dubrovenka embankment. Rotunda gazebos, playgrounds, bike paths, small architectural forms and new benches have appeared here. The space has become convenient for strollers and outdoor activities.
Mogilev residents are already calling the fountain a new point of attraction. The renovated embankment with a unique fountain has become an attractive place not only for Mogilev residents, but also for tourists, especially since the Mogilev Hotel is located nearby.
