Yalovo. St. Anne's Church.
In the Pruzhany district, in the village of Yalovo, there is a small wooden Orthodox church at the local cemetery. To get to this place, you need to go from Pruzhan to Shereshevo and turn right from the highway to Yalovo.
The temple was built in the 18th century during the era of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and according to some historical sources in the 19th during the time of the Russian Empire. The church is an architectural monument, which was built in the traditions of Belarusian wooden folk architecture. Now the temple is inscribed to the church of St. Nicholas in Shereshevo.
The church is built of pine timber. The church consists of two main parts: a prayer hall and an apse. The main volume is covered by a gable roof. Previously, the roof was covered with shingles. The main facade is completed with a triangular pediment. A small two-tiered four-sided tower rises above the facade. The church has been renovated in recent years.
The temple is usually open on holidays. To visit the shrine, you must first call the priest at the church in Shereshovo.
