Stavok. Church of the Ascension of the Lord.

There is a betting place in the Pinsk district. It is quite easy to get to this settlement, since it is located at the turn from the M10 highway to Pinsk.

The first wooden church in the village has been known since the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1503. The sponsor of the temple was the local Pinsk Prince Fyodor Ivanovich Yaroslavich. This temple has not been preserved to our time.

During the time of the Russian Empire, a new Orthodox church was built in 1853 at the expense of the local landowner Franz Puslovsky.

During the Great Patriotic War, the church was severely damaged.

The temple was built in the traditions of wooden folk Polesie architecture. The architecture also features features of the pseudo-Russian style, which is typical of 19th-century Orthodox architecture.

The building consists of four main parts consisting of three log cabins: a vestibule, a refectory, a prayer hall and an apse. A two-tiered bell tower is built above the vestibule, which is covered with a four-pitched roof with an octagonal drum and a small onion. The main volume is covered by a four-pitched roof, above which is an octagonal drum with a dome. A pentagonal apse is attached to the main volume.

The church has been renovated. The temple is functioning.
