Mosty. Railway station.
There is a railway station in the early 20th century in the regional town of Mosty, Grodno region. During the time of the Russian Empire, in 1886, a railway station was built on the site of a sawmill. The stone railway station was inaugurated in 1904.
The station building is stone, built in the Art Nouveau style. In plan, the building has the shape of a quadrangle. There are large semicircular windows around the perimeter. It was damaged during the Great Patriotic War. The monument has been restored.
In the period 1893 - 1907, a sleeper manufacturing plant operated at the railway station. In the city of Baranovichi, in the Museum of the History of the Baranovichi Department of the Belarusian Railway, there is a telegram from 1907 addressed to the head of the railway construction department, which says: "Today, on January 1, the Polotsk– Volkovysk line and the Bridges–Grodno branches were transferred to the management of the Nikolaev Road and proper traffic was opened along them. Timofeev".
At first, the Nikolaevskaya railway was called the Petersburg-Moscow Railway, which was opened in 1851. Since 1855 it became known as Nikolaevskaya. To date, 29 regular trains pass through the Mosty railway station.
Near the station there is a repair depot of the early 20th century. The building is made of stone, two-storied yellow brick.
