Plebanovtsy. The Church of the Holy Trinity.
In the Mosty district, on the outskirts of the village of Plebanovtsy, there is a wooden church of the Holy Trinity of the 18th century. The Catholic shrine was built during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania by the foundation of Yuri de Senno-Sennensky in 1740.
At the end of the century, in 1790-1799, the building was rebuilt and the interior decor was made at the expense of Marshal John Bisping of Starodub. And in 1800, an altarium was laid in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The church was restored in 1841 by the Adam Bisping foundation. A new chapel was added to the building, under which an ordinary tomb of the Bispings was made.
Initially, the church had a two-towered facade. In the 19th century, the towers were dismantled and since 1836, the main facade is decorated with a small four-tower. In 1856, a two-tiered bell tower and a stone temple were built.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the number of parishioners was about 2.5 thousand people.
After the Great Patriotic War, the church was closed. At the end of the Soviet Union, the church was returned to the faithful and worship services began again in 1989. The monument was renovated at the expense of the children of the last owner of the local estate, Kazimir Bisping (1887-1941).
Several burials of the Bisping family have been preserved near the church. There is a trace stone at the entrance of the temple.

The Holy Trinity Church is the main attraction of the village of Plebanovtsy, one of the wonders of the Mostovsky district.
The first mention of the shrine dates back to 1522 in the lists of the Vilna Diocese. It is believed that the temple was built of wood by Queen Bona Sforza, the wife of Sigismund I the Old. Some Polish historians believe that the parafia itself could have originated as early as 1510, when construction was launched. The church was consecrated as Holy Trinity and has not changed its name since.
The modern church building was built in 1740 in the Baroque style by the efforts of priest Franz Abramovich and thanks to the funds of Jerzy de Sianno Senensky. In 1790-1799, the church was reconstructed with donations from Marshal Jan Tadeusz Bisping. During the same period, a building was built to house a hospital and a school.
The temple originally had two towers, which were dismantled in the 19th century. The main facade has been updated with the addition of a high-set pediment and chapel.
In Soviet times, the church was closed, but the faithful kept it and continued to come to pray. In the 1970s, it received the status of an architectural monument.
In 1989, worship services resumed in the church. The church was renovated with the help of the descendants of Kazimir Bisping, which is confirmed by a memorial plaque installed in 1991.
The Baroque Church of the Holy Trinity in Plebanovtsy is an example of wooden architecture of the second half of the 18th century and is of interest to many people today. The interior has preserved original elements, including three altars with icons and carved wooden sculptures of that time, as well as an antique organ.
