Mosty Pravye. Chapel at the cemetery of the Oznobishin family.
The village of Mosty Pravye has been known since the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania since the 15th century. There have been different owners here all the time.
And in the middle of the 19th century, representatives of the Oznobishin family became the new owners. At the end of the 19th century, the Oznobishins built a new stone palace at the manor, which has survived to our time. A stone chapel was also erected in the local cemetery as a family chapel.
The palace building is made of stone. One-storey building with a two-storey central part. There is also a circular extension at the end, which, after restoration, has now been converted into an Orthodox chapel.
An entrance alley made of lime trees is planted on the west side of the estate. There was an alley with lilacs near the manor house. There was a lawn with ornamental plants in front of the manor house. A century-old oak tree with a trunk diameter of three meters grows next to the house - the oak can be about 400 years old.
There used to be a wooden church near the estate, which was consecrated in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. After the war, there was a school in the palace. And since the mid–2010s, the premises have been transferred to an Orthodox youth missionary center. An Orthodox cross was installed and consecrated in the circular annex to the palace in 2018.
The stone chapel of the Oznobishin family has been preserved in the local cemetery. The chapel is made of stone, with a quadrangle plan. The main facade is decorated with four pilasters on two sides of the entrance. The finished facade has a triangular pediment. There are two hemispherical windows in the side walls. A wooden four-column turret is built over the facade. The chapel has been renovated in recent years and covered with a new gable roof. The wooden turret has been dismantled.
The cemetery has preserved old graves with monuments, including a stone chapel – tombstone.
