Grodno. Augustevich House (Karl Marx St., 7).

In the city of Grodno, on the ancient K. Marx Street, which was formerly called Kupecheskaya, a two-story stone building was built, which is known as the Augustevich House. The building was built during the Russian Empire in 1870 in the eclectic style.

          The house is plastered, decorative decorations are on the second floor of the front facade. Once there was a decor on the ground floor, but after the remodeling of many was lost. There is an arched passage in the center of the building. There is a balcony made of cast iron above the passage. The 'Vienna' hotel was operating in the house in 1910. According to some reports, the 'Kievsky' Hotel was operating here at that time. It was in this hotel that the famous historian Zygmunt Gloger (1845-1910), a Belarusian and Polish archaeologist and ethnographer, stayed in the 1870s.

           There was a pastry shop and a Rosalia Panasyuk consumer goods store in the building. During the time of the Polish state in 1922, the "Polish Trading House" was located in the building. In 1928, a candy store was operating.

         There are several shops and institutions in the building now.
