Dubrovno. Holy Trinity Church.

Built in 1809, Holy Trinity Church is a harmonious combination of traditional local architecture and elegant elements of classicism.

The temple was built of brick and plastered on the outside, which gives it a monumental and austere appearance. Its single-domed composition with a longitudinal-axial structure creates a sense of upward aspiration. The majestic two-tiered bell tower with a hipped roof, located on the main facade, is the dominant feature of the entire architectural ensemble.

The main volume of the temple consists of two parts: the lower quad and the upper circular light drum. The light drum, supported by arches, is covered by a high dome, filling the interior space with light and air. The narthex and the apse are directly connected to the main volume.

The exterior decoration of the temple has pronounced features of classicism. The main entrance and the side walls of the main volume are emphasized by pediments, and the window openings are completed with sandricks. The pilasters are rusticated, which gives the facade additional relief.

The interior has preserved valuable icons from the late 18th and 19th centuries, such as the Holy Family and The Last Supper, which are real works of art. The iconostasis, made in a traditional style, is decorated with carvings and gilding, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and splendor.

The Holy Trinity Church of Dubrovno is an active temple, which is still the center of the religious life of the city.
