The ruins of St. Euphrosyne's Church in Rositsa.
Since 1753, the town of Rositsa belonged to Lopatinsky family.
It is known that St. Euphrosyne's Church was built at the end of the 18th century at the expense of Nikolai Lopatinsky, the owner of the estate, who bequeathed money for construction before his death in 1778.
The church was originally a wooden Uniate church, but later it was rebuilt in stone and consecrated as Orthodox. Unfortunately, this majestic five-domed temple was destroyed, presumably during the period of anti-religious persecution before the Second World War.
Today, on the outskirts of Rositsa, you can see the sad ruins of St. Euphrosyne's Church. To date, only a dilapidated bell tower remains of it. The condition of the church is abandoned and in disrepair, the surrounding area is not well maintained.
There is a cemetery and a picturesque lake near the ruins. Many tourists drive by and take photos from the road without staying long.
