Bernardine monastery.
In the 15th and early 16th centuries, the owner of land in the modern town of Dubrovno was one of the richest families - the Glebovich family. Thanks to him, the Dubrovensky Castle arose here, which was the center of defense of that time. The Glebovichs invited the Bernardines to these lands - a Catholic monastic order, whose members settled in Poland in 1453 at the Cathedral of St. Bernard in Krakow. The Bernardines were famous for their complacency, lack of fanatical religiosity, and were engaged in religious and educational activities here.
In 1630, the Bernardine Monastery was founded by Mikalay Glebovich. However, after a fire that occurred at the end of the 18th century, only the church located on the territory of the monastery survived. On the site of a burnt wooden monastery, Xavier Lubomirsky built a brick two-story Bernardine Monastery in 1809.
During the Soviet years, the monastery building at various times housed a school, public services, and DOSAAF. Now it is planned to restore the building and open a local history museum.
