The Church of the Virgin Mary on the outskirts of the village of Mnuto 2 is an architectural monument in the pseudo-Gothic style.

The village of Mnuto 2, located in the Glubokoe district of the Vitebsk region of Belarus, is famous for its main attraction — the Church of the Virgin Mary. This majestic red brick building was erected in 1910 and is a typical example of the pseudo-Gothic style. High towers with spires, which are visible from afar, give the temple a special expressiveness and make it a noticeable element of the local landscape.

The church in Mnuto 2 is not only well restored, but also has impressive dimensions, which makes it a memorable architectural object. Its picturesque location next to a large lake, also named Mnuto, adds a special atmosphere to this place. All these factors make the church attractive to tourists and connoisseurs of architecture.

The Church of the Virgin Mary is an important architectural monument of the early 20th century and represents a historical and cultural value for Belarus. Its Neo-Gothic form and architectural details reflect the stylistic trends of its time, making it an interesting object to explore and visit. Two tall towers with spires are visible from afar. The walls are decorated with stepped buttresses on the outside, and pointed arches on the inside.

In addition to its architectural significance, the church in Mnuto also has historical value. It was here that Vaclav Lastovsky, a Belarusian writer, public and political figure, historian and philologist, who became Prime Minister of the Belarusian People's Republic, was baptized. Lastovsky was born in 1883 and received the title of academician after the Soviet regime and became the head of the Belarusian State Museum. However, his life ended tragically: in the early 1930s, he was charged in a trumped-up case and shot in 1938.

Thus, the Church of the Virgin Mary in the village of Mnuto not only attracts attention with its architectural beauty, but also preserves important pages of Belarusian history, which makes it an indispensable object for studying and visiting.
