The Usakino Memorial Complex combines monuments and real preserved wartime sites.

The Usakino Memorial Complex is a place that holds an important reminder of the Great Patriotic War. It occupies a vast forest area, several kilometers long, and includes the "Split Hut" composition, a partisan cemetery, a restored partisan camp, and a monolith.

The composition "The Split Hut" is a tribute to the memory of the villages of Vyazen and Selets, burned down by the Fascist punishers. Their residents were shot, and their houses were looted before being destroyed. This atrocity was committed by the same battalion that later burned Khatyn.

Two memorial stones have been erected in memory of the dead civilians – for each destroyed village.

In the restored camp, visitors can get acquainted with the construction of dugouts and experience the life of the partisans. The printing house and the memorable accordion of the partisan Burakovsky, with which he reached Berlin, have been preserved here. Craters from dropped shells are visible on the territory of the camp, in which swamp water is now accumulating.

The monolith dedicated to the presence of the Mogilev regional party Committee recalls the important role of this formation in organizing resistance to the fascist invaders.

More information about the Klichevskaya partisan zone, one of the largest in Belarus, can be found in the museum of local lore of the district: weapons, personal belongings, drawings of the partisan Alexander Shklyar and a walkie-talkie are presented here.

The Usakino Memorial Complex combines monuments and real preserved objects of those times. Historical reconstructions are carried out at its base, during which you can see the re-creation of key moments of the guerrilla struggle, everyday scenes and much more. This makes "Usakino" not just a place for contemplating monuments, but a space for deep immersion in the past.

Therefore, the memorial is worth a visit even for those who are not big fans of military history. Such places remind of a tragic and heroic period in the history of our country, which had a huge impact on its further development.
