Podleseiki. Sokolovich Manor.

A few kilometers from the town of Baranovichi there is a place called Podleseiki. The remains of the Sokolovich estate have been preserved in the village.

During the time of the Russian Empire, Podleseiki was part of the Novogrudok district of the Minsk province. In 1897, the village had a tavern, two watermills, and a bakery. After the Peace of Riga in 1921, it became part of the Polish state and was part of the Baranovichi district of the Novogrudok Voivodeship.

Until 1939, when the Soviet government came, the local estate belonged to the Sokolovich family. After the Great Patriotic War, the estate was transferred to a local secondary school.

The manor house building has not been preserved to our time. To date, a wooden one-story wing has been preserved, which was built on a high stone foundation. The building is rectangular in plan and was covered with a shingle roof. In the center of the house was a high porch with a canopy supported by two wooden pillars. Next to the manor house there was a large park with a pond, a family cellar and outbuildings. Only a few trees remain from the park. There are a couple of outbuildings.
