Description
Near the village of Podgornaya there are several archaeological sites dating back to the Neolithic and the Bronze Age. The monuments were examined by archaeologists, and numerous historical artifacts, mainly ceramics, were found. There is a trace boulder on one of the monuments, which has been given magical powers by locals since ancient times. To find the boulder, you need to contact the residents of the village of Podgornaya, and they will show you the way.

Podgornaya. A hillfort and a trace boulder.
There are several archaeological sites south of the village of Podgornaya. There is a trace stone on the hillfort. There is a Neolithic and Bronze Age monument in the surrounding area.
Settlement-1. It is located 1.5 kilometers from the village between the right bank of the Shchara River and the left bank of the Lahazva River. The tract is called Krampole. The cultural layer is about 60 centimeters. The tableware of the culture of corded ceramics has been unveiled.
Settlement-2. It is located one kilometer southwest of the town on the right bank of the Shchara River. It is under the arable land. A reclamation canal has been built along part of the monument. The cultural layer is about 40 centimeters. The finds of the Neman Neolithic culture have been made public.
Settlement-3. To the southwest of the town, 1.2 kilometers away. On the right bank of the Shchara River. The cultural layer is 40 centimeters. The monument was under the arable land. It belongs to the Neman Neolithic culture.
