Gorodilovo. Puzyn's park.

If you drive up the central street to the 19th-century church of St. Joseph in the town of Gorodilovo, then you will see a road intersection and Park Street leading to the park of the Puzyn's estate not far away.

The estate belonged to the Puzyn family in the 19th century. And there were several owners here before them. The palace was a wooden one-story building and has not been preserved to our time. And in the very center of the town there is a park with a lake, a glacier and two stone lions. According to one version, these lions were brought here from another estate, and according to another - that they are from the estate of the Puzyn family.

In the 19th century, this manor of the Puzyns was an important cultural environment in this region. Here lived the famous writer and poet, memoirist Gabriel Albina Gunter (1815-1869), who in 1851 married Tadeusz Puzyn and moved to live in his estate Gorodilovo. Here she created a literary salon. She has collected a large library and a collection of works of art. Famous artists and writers, public figures came to visit her here in Gorodilovo: composer Stanislav Monyushko, poet Vladislav Syrokomlya, son of Adam Mickiewicz Vladislav Mickiewicz and many others.

She began writing poetry at the age of 12 and wrote her works in Polish. She has published several of her collections. At the end of her life, she wrote a memoir.

Now the park has several hiking trails, a glacier and a small lake. A sports stadium has been created on the outskirts of the park. The water system of the former estate has been preserved behind the stadium: several lakes with water channels.
