Gruzdovo. Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.
In the Molodechno district there is a small village Gruzdovo, where in the 18th century a wooden Orthodox church was built in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.
The first written sources recall Gruzdovo in the 14th century. At that time, these lands belonged to Prince Dmitry Olgerdovich. Then it passed to Prince Skirgailo.
At first, there was a stone Uniate church in the village. And in 1871, a wooden church was built for Orthodox believers.
The church was built in the traditions of Belarusian folk architecture in the classical style. The building consists of four main parts: a vestibule, a refectory, the main volume of the prayer hall and a triangular apse. A three-tiered four-tiered bell tower is built over the narthex, which is covered with a four-pitched roof. The refectory and prayer hall are covered with a gable roof. The prayer hall the main volume of the temple in the plan has a rectangle above which an onion is mounted on an octagonal drum.
The church was renovated in 1997. There are choirs in the interior above the entrance and the faithful have returned the miraculous icon of the Gruzdovskaya Mother of God, which, according to legend, appeared in the 15th century.
