Dubina Yurzdytskaya. Church of St. George the Victorious.

Near Volozhin, to the right of the Minsk–Vilnius highway, there is a small village with an unusual name Dubina Yurzdytskaya. A stone Orthodox church was built on the outskirts of the village, which was consecrated in honor of St. George the Victorious.

The building was built according to a standard design in 1868. After the suppression of the anti-Russian uprising of 1863-1864, small typical Orthodox churches began to be massively built in this region. As a rule, these churches were financed from the state treasury. This is the same church that originated in this town.

In Soviet times, the church fell into disrepair and the bell tower was half destroyed.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the church was handed over to Orthodox believers. Repairs were carried out.

The monument was erected in the pseudo–Russian style of rubble stone. The building consists of four main parts: a vestibule, a refectory, a prayer hall and a semicircular apse. Above the narthex, a bell tower is built, an octagon over a quadrangle. The last tier is plastered and pierced by four windows with a keel-shaped finish.

The refectory is covered with a gable roof, and the prayer hall is four-pitched. There is an octagonal drum with an onion above the main volume.

The decorative method of finishing the temple is based on a combination of white plastered parts with the natural color of the stone.
