Vidibor. Church of St. Michael the Archangel.

In Stolin district, on the Stolin-Luninets route, there is a place called Vidibor. Vidibor was first mentioned during the period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1503. Although the first people came here much earlier, as there is an archaeological kurgan monument two kilometers from the village.

After the second partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Vidibor became part of the Russian Empire.

Since 1939, it has been transferred to Soviet Belarus.

There was a church behind a place in a tract called Zagorye, which in 1917 the residents moved to a local cemetery. The church was consecrated in honor of St. Michael the Archangel. It is a monument of folk wooden architecture.

It is assumed that the temple was built in the 19th century. To date, the church is attributed to the Resurrection Church of the city of Stolin.

The main volume of the temple is made of a hexagonal log house, which is covered with a hip roof. A four-pointed bell tower has been erected above the vestibule. Above the main volume there is an onion dome above a small polyhedral drum. The entrance is decorated in the form of a porch with a veranda, which is covered with a gable roof. The church has been renovated in recent years. The area around the temple is landscaped.
