Duboi. Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

A wooden church of St. Nicholas has been built north of Stolin in a place with the exotic name of Duboi.

The place was first mentioned in historical sources in 1503. At different times, the local estate was owned by the Karpovichi, Komary, Kanevichi and Shirmy. On the outskirts of the village, the Orthodox wooden church of St. Nicholas, which was built between 1896 and 1906, has been preserved to this day. The author of the project is architect V. Struve. The temple was built in the neoclassical and pseudo–Russian style. The church has always worked and has never been closed in its history: neither during the Great Patriotic War, nor during the Soviet Union.

In 2003, the shrine was charmed and 24 icons and temple items were lost. In 2011, the building was renovated, and in 2014, major repairs were carried out and a new building heating system was created.

The church consists of four main parts: the vestibule, the refectory, the prayer hall and the apse. A three-tiered bell tower is built above the vestibule: an octagon on a quad and completed with a multifaceted spire with an onion. Five onion tents on round drums have been built above the main volume. A pentagonal apse with side sacristy is attached to the main volume.

There is a local cemetery near the church. A gate with three onion tents was built in front of the temple.
