Polotsk. The Museum of Local Lore.

The museum has about 2,000 exhibits that cover various aspects of local history and culture. In the archaeological exposition of the museum, you can see artifacts found on the territory of Polotsk and the surrounding area, which show how the local community has lived since ancient times.

Here, in the museum, a number of materials on the history of the war of 1812, the First World War and the Great Patriotic War are presented.  There is an exhibition "Corner of the Belarusian hut of the late 19th — early 20th century", which presents us with ethnographic materials and introduces us to the rich cultural heritage of the region. A separate section of the museum is dedicated to famous people of 20th century Polotsk.
