Polotsk. The Museum of Medieval Chivalry.

Today, the Polotsk Museum is known not only in Belarus, but also abroad. By visiting the museum of medieval chivalry, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of that time. The excursions here are not only interesting, but also complemented by animation. Do not be surprised if Prince Andrei of Polotsk comes to life in front of you (they tell you about him in detail on excursions) or the sounds of a sword duel will be heard behind you and a knight in armor will appear who challenged you to battle.

Although almost the entire archive of the museum was collected by an ordinary person who is not a professional historian or museum employee, the exposition is striking in its abundance of unique and rare items.

The museum has three halls and a souvenir shop. The interior of the museum is designed in the style of a medieval castle. You will be able to get acquainted with household items and military artifacts of that time, such as antique crossbows, spears and arrows.

The museum actively participates in the knight festivals held annually in Polotsk, the oldest city in Belarus. The museum also participates in the European action "Night of Museums", when museums open their doors at night. This campaign promotes the popularization of museums among the younger generation and the development of tourism.
