The manor museum is dedicated to the life and work of the outstanding Belarusian writer Vasil Bykov.

Vasil Bykov is one of the most famous Belarusian authors, famous for his works about the Second World War, about love for his native land and about human destiny. Bykov was born into a peasant family in the village of Bychki, where a manor museum was subsequently created in his memory. The original building of 1933, in which V. Bykov lived, has not been preserved: it became dilapidated and was demolished. However, we have the opportunity to visit an exact copy of the writer's house, recreated from photographs and memoirs of contemporaries.  The house is surrounded by old apple trees, maples and century-old oaks.

The museum's exposition presents items that give you a fairly complete picture of the life of the family in which Vasil Bykov grew up, as well as his personal belongings, including archival photographs and letters from the front.

The museum hosts excursions, lectures and other events dedicated to the work of Vasil Bykov, where visitors can see archival materials, listen to excerpts from works and learn more about the writer's life, his views and philosophy.

The estate-museum of Vasil Bykov allows you to preserve the legacy of the great writer. It is not only a place of memory of the famous writer, but also an important cultural center that attracts literature lovers, historians and tourists. This is a place where history comes to life, and where everyone can touch the work of one of the most prominent representatives of Belarusian literature.
