Myadel Museum of National Glory.
The interior of the museum is decorated in a traditional Belarusian style, which creates an atmosphere of authenticity and immerses visitors in the world of Belarusian village life. Special attention is paid to the details: the beams, decorated with geometric carvings, give the room a unique character and emphasize the craftsmanship of the craftsmen.
The museum features 10 thematic exhibitions, each of which tells about different aspects of life, as well as about the folk culture and everyday life of the Myadel land.
One of the expositions tells about the ancient history of the region with the help of materials from excavations of ancient settlements and burial mounds. The museum's exhibits also cover such periods in Myadel's life as the Naroch operation of 1916, the 1917 Revolution and the interwar period of 1921-1940, and the Great Patriotic War. There are also separate exhibitions dedicated to the partisan movement and the liberation of Myadel region.
Visitors are also presented with educational expositions that introduce the faiths of the Myadel region: icons, books, objects of worship belonging to various religious communities, as well as expositions that introduce folk art and the development of education and culture of the local region.
Overall, it's a great museum for such a small town, with interesting exhibits.
The Museum of National Glory in Myadel is not only a repository of historical artifacts, but also a place where you can better understand and appreciate the richness of Belarusian culture and traditions.

The Myadel Museum of National Glory.
The Myadel Museum of National Glory was founded in 1969. The total number of museum items is about 41,000. The museum's exposition includes ten thematic halls: "The ancient history of the region", "Narochan operation of 1916", "The Revolution of 1917 and the interwar period of 1921-1940", "The Great Patriotic War", "Partisan dugout", "Liberation of the Myadel region", "Internationalist Warriors", "Famous countrymen", "Hut rybak", "Confessions".
The interior is decorated in the Belarusian style – an ensemble of a village hut with beams decorated with geometric carvings.
The ancient tiles from the excavations of the medieval castle, which was located on the peninsula of Lake Myastro, are of interest. And the tile depicting a knight on horseback with a sword in his hands, with which he threatens a bear, is unique. Archaeologists and researchers believe that this image could be the coat of arms of Myadel.
The unique exhibits are located in the section of the exposition dedicated to the First World War. Here are army certificates of that time, weapons, German occupation passports with fingerprints of the owners, breast crosses and medallions of Russian soldiers, items of soldiers' everyday life, photographs and maps of that time.
In the hall of the Great Patriotic War, in addition to other curious museum objects, the correspondence of the police of the Myadel garrison with the partisans of the Rokossovsky brigade is presented.
The museum has created an exhibition "Fisherman's Hut", which presents a variety of fishing gear, clothing, household items.
Numerous monuments of art – icons, books, objects of religious use. All these materials are shown in the section of the exposition “Confessions of the Myadel region".
A significant place in the museum's exposition is devoted to the life and work of famous countrymen: the artist V. Sharangovich, the artist M. Zakharevich, the poet M. Tank, the Myadel poets I. Skurko, M. Duksa, E. Shaban, N. Shabovich, A. Voronovich, etc.
In 1990, the museum of the history of the Dubovka School was opened in Secondary School No. 1 in Myadel, which acts as a branch of the Myadel Museum. In recent years, the museum's activities have been aimed at creating museum and educational programs for students. The most significant of them is the cycle of theatrical excursions "Narochansky Krai — Partizansky Krai", which are held in the forest, near the village. Cheremshitsy, at the base of the partisan brigade named after Voroshilov.
The exposition of the Myadel Museum of Folk Glory contains an interesting exhibit – binoculars with the inscription "Comrade. Klimov I.F. in memory of the Armed Forces of the USSR. 1957." This award-winning binoculars were presented by Marshal of the Soviet Union, Minister of Defense of the USSR Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov in 1957 to Ivan Frolovich Klimov. Ivan Frolovich Klimov is one of the organizers and leaders of the partisan movement in the Vileisk region. He was born on 03/10/1903 in the village of Kostyukovka, Gomel region. From May 1943 to July 1944, he was the first secretary of the Vileisk underground regional committee of the KP(b)B, which was located in a wooded area near D.Cheremshitsy of the Myadel district. After the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, he worked in various party and government positions. He was Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR. He was awarded two Orders of Lenin, the Orders of the October Revolution, Friendship of Peoples, the Red Banner, the Patriotic War of the First degree, two orders.
The exhibit was donated to the museum by Ivan Frolovich Klimov in 1989. Ivan Frolovich Klimov, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, died in Minsk in 1991.
