Nekasetsk. The Church of the Holy Trinity.
In Myadel district, on the way from Myadel to Dokshitsy, there is a small village of Nekasetsk. The wooden Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity has been preserved on the outskirts of the village. The place is small and part of the Sloboda village Council.
After the Soviet–Polish war and the Peace of Riga in 1921, Nekasetsk came under the rule of the Polish state. The town was part of Poland until 1939, before the arrival of Soviet power. During this period, the town was part of the Myadel gmina of the Postavy district of the Vilno voivodeship. In 1940-1954, it was the center of the Nekasetsky village Council.
In Polish times, an Orthodox church was built on the outskirts of Nekasetsk, which was consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity. The temple was built with the money of the landowner Chernyavsky.
The church is wooden on a rubble stone foundation, built in the style of folk wooden architecture. In terms of the church has a rectangular shape. It is made of wooden timber, which is lined with boards.
