Description
The amazing museum of cryptozoology "Legendarium" has opened its doors in the very center of Minsk. This is the first museum in Belarus dedicated to fantastic creatures and mythical characters.
The exhibition is built around the story of the mysterious Professor Wayland Tiberius Harrowstone, who devoted his life to the study of anomalous phenomena. About 50 large exhibits are located on 450 square meters. All of them were created by hand by artists specifically for this project, they look realistic and are made in full size.
The journey begins with the professor's office, where a winter forest with yetis and werewolves awaits guests through a secret door hidden behind bookshelves. On the second floor, you will be greeted by vampires in a medieval castle, followed by a magical forest with a unicorn, elves, and a huge dragon. The atmosphere is complemented by semi-darkness and charming music.
Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. The ideal place for those who want to believe in a fairy tale

The Legendarium Museum of Cryptozoology is the first in Belarus dedicated to fantastic creatures and mythical characters.
In the very center of Minsk, in a historic building at 3 Mezhdunarodnaya Street, the first museum of cryptozoology in Belarus, the Legendarium, opened its doors. This is a unique space where myths and legends take shape, and fantastic creatures seem to come off the pages of books and screens.
The museum is built around the fascinating legend of Professor Wayland Tiberius Harrowstone, an eccentric scientist who devoted his life to studying anomalous phenomena and searching for mythical creatures around the world. The museum's guests find themselves in its stylized 19th-century study, where a secret door is hidden behind the bookshelves. It is through her that the real journey into the world created by the professor's imagination begins.
Exhibition: 50 exhibits and four worlds
On an area of 450 square meters, there are about 50 large exhibits created by hand by artists specifically for this project. All the figures are made in full size with high detail - from the skeleton of a mermaid to a huge dragon.
The journey begins with the scientist's office, where you can view his personal notes and unique finds. Then, through a secret door, the guests enter a snowy winter forest, where yetis, werewolves and fauns hide among the snowdrifts. On the second floor, visitors will find a medieval castle with vampires and Dracula, and then a magical forest inhabited by elves, a unicorn, water and forest spirits. Special attention is drawn to the elf, whose image is clearly inspired by Legolas from The Lord of the Rings.
To fully immerse yourself in the magical world, the museum is dimly lit and plays charming music. Each room is a separate story, where good and evil, scary and beautiful are intertwined. All exhibits are freely available, which creates the effect of close proximity to mythical creatures.
The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 (tickets are available until 21:30).
Legendarium is not just an exhibition, but a real adventure where everyone, regardless of age, can believe in miracles and become a part of a magical story for a while.
