Dive into the history of brewing in the center of Minsk.
In the very heart of Minsk, on the historic Revolutsionnaya Street, a place has been opened that is already called the main gastronomic attraction of the capital. The Lidbeer Museum Restaurant is not just another bar, but a real time machine dedicated to the centuries-old history of Belarusian brewing. Opening at the end of 2025, the project quickly gained popularity among both tourists and locals, offering a unique format of "edutainment" (education + entertainment).
Three floors of history.
The concept of the institution is built around traveling through different eras. Each of the three floors of the restaurant is stylized for a specific historical period, which creates a unique atmosphere.
· Ground floor: Medieval tavern. Once inside, guests find themselves in an authentic tavern dating back to the principalities. Massive oak tables, dim candlelight and wrought-iron decor elements instantly transport you to the past, where beer was an integral part of everyday life.
· Second floor: The Era of Art Nouveau and the USSR. Here time is bifurcated. One room recreates the atmosphere of a sophisticated drinking establishment of the late 19th - early 20th century with smooth lines of furniture, crystal chandeliers and piano sounds. This is followed by a nostalgic "Soviet restaurant" with propaganda posters on the walls, faceted glasses, beer mugs and the iconic "Paparats-kvetka" dish in the menu.
· Third floor: Chronicle of the factory. The highlight of the visit is the exhibition "Chronicle of the Factory: from 1876 to the present day." This is the heart of the museum dedicated to the history of the Lida Brewery. Exclusive archival materials, personal belongings of the founder of the plant Nosel Pupko, a collection of historical labels and product samples are presented here. The work on this exhibition lasted more than two years.
Not only to drink, but also to have a snack.
Lidbeer's cuisine deserves special attention. The menu combines traditional Belarusian and Slavic dishes with modern serving. The portions here are more than average, and the prices can be described as comfortable for this level.
Among the dishes that the first visitors recommend to try:
- "Adult" borscht served in an unusual three-legged plate.
- Aspic with horseradish tongue and herring under a fur coat is a tribute to Soviet culinary traditions.
- Fried zeppelins with crispy pork rinds served as a hearty snack.
- The original "Bread Boat" with prosciutto and fermented cabbage.
- For dessert, you should pay attention to the Polotsk cottage cheese rolls with poppy sauce.
Guided tours with tasting.
The main feature that distinguishes Lidbeer from other establishments is the opportunity to book a guided tour. Guests can book two formats: just an excursion with a tasting of Lida Beer drinks or an extended program that also includes dishes of Belarusian cuisine from different eras. This makes going to a restaurant not just a dinner, but a full-fledged cultural event.

Lidbeer on Revolutsionnaya is a bold and successful project that proves that a museum can be lively, interactive and very tasty.
