"Aquarelle Ecopark": a place of power near Pukhovichi
If you think that all the beauty of Belarus can be seen only in the west of the country, you just haven't been to the "Aquarelle" Ecopark yet. Located in the Pukhovichi district, south of the agricultural town of Novoselki, this corner of nature reverses the idea of a familiar country vacation.
"Aquarelle" is not just a barbecue recreation center. This is a philosophical project where every detail is created for one purpose: to show the pristine beauty of the Belarusian nature, but to present it with such comfort that you would expect only on expensive European campgrounds.
Where it is located and how to get there.
It's not difficult to find this place. The ecopark is located 70 kilometers from Minsk (or just over 40 km from the MKAD if you drive along the M5 highway). The landmark is the scenic route to Maryina Gorka.
· Address: Pukhovichi district, south of ag. Novoselki.
· Coordinates for the navigator: 53.673888, 28.040431.
The journey from Minsk takes about 40-50 minutes. The last leg of the journey winds through the woods, and the trip itself sets you up for a relaxed mood. The entrance is decorated with stylized wooden gates - this is an architectural marker that civilization has been left behind.
Concept: nature as art.
The name "Aquarelle" was not chosen by chance. The owners of the estate managed to create the effect of a painting, which you get into immediately upon entering. In the center of the territory there are two picturesque karst lakes with turquoise, crystal clear water. Unlike many local reservoirs, the bottom here is sandy, without muddy sludge, and the coastline is designed so as not to disrupt the environment, but to ensure maximum access to water.
The main feature of the park is a designer lake with a unique filtration system. Here you can not just swim, but swim in the water, which is close to the purity of the spring. Around the reservoirs there are well-groomed embankments made of larch, sun beds and umbrellas, creating the atmosphere of the southern coast, but surrounded by Belarusian pines and birches.
What to see and what to do.
"Aquarelle" Ecopark is ideal for two categories of people: those who want absolute privacy, and those who appreciate the developed infrastructure.
1. Glamping and cabins. You can forget about tents here. "Aquarelle" is famous for its stylish houses and glamping spheres. This is not just a "roof over your head", but panoramic windows directly facing the water. Waking up here means seeing the dawn sky overhead or the morning mist over the lake without getting out of bed.
2. Wood-fired spa. The park's calling card is a traditional Russian bathhouse and font. But if you want exotic things, pay attention to the hammam. This is a real corner of the East with a marble sunbed and fragrant steam, which looks surprisingly harmonious surrounded by the Belarusian forest.
3. Activities. Despite the aesthetics of peace, you won't be bored. Sapboards (standing kayaks), catamarans, and wakeboarding are available for guests (a winch tower is available during the season). There is also plenty of room for fishermen here: carp, carp and pike are found in the lakes. Moreover, the fish here are not intimidated, because the principle of "catch - let go" applies.
4. Eco-zone. The territory is an arboretum. Walking along the wooden floors, you will see a collection of coniferous plants, shrubs and flowering perennials rare in the middle zone, which are selected so that the park blooms from early spring to late autumn.
Impressions and atmosphere.
The most amazing thing about "Aquarelle"" is the feeling of security and privacy. Despite the popularity of the place (there are a lot of guests here on weekends), the architecture is planned so that you practically do not intersect with the neighbors. Each house, each recreation area has its own private space.
There is a special dress code here. People don't come here to loudly celebrate noisy holidays until the morning. "Aquarelle" is a place for quiet dates, restoring family resources and contemplation.
It is especially beautiful here at dusk, when the landscape lighting turns on, and the water begins to glow with a soft golden light, reflecting the silhouettes of the trees.
Resume.
"Aquarelle" Ecopark is an ideal option for those who want to escape from the city without wasting time on a long journey, but get the maximum quality of rest. This place proves that Belarus can be not only cozy, but also stylish, and nature is not only wild, but also refined with great taste and respect for the guest.
Is it worth going? Definitely yes. If only to swim in turquoise water in the middle of a pine forest and understand why this place is compared with the best European eco-resorts.
