The House of the fire brigade of the late 19th century in Chereya is not just a building, it is a part of history.
Originally intended to house local firefighters, this house served not only as their home, but also as a headquarters for fighting the fire element. Over time, when the need for permanent residence of firefighters disappeared, the building was converted to administrative needs.
Without distinguishing itself from the delights of architecture, the House of the fire brigade impresses with its simplicity and functionality. It also carries the spirit of the era and is an important element of the historical environment of Chereya. A special contribution to the preservation of this monument belongs to Roald Romanov, whose efforts have allowed the building to survive to this day in relatively good condition.
According to the stories of old–timers, the Chereya fire brigade was famous not only for its bravery, but also for its musical talent - they had their own orchestra, which undoubtedly brought color to the life of the town.
Today, the house of the fire brigade in Chereya is not just a building, it is a part of history, a memory of people who stood guard over security and contributed to the cultural life of their region.
