Alexandria is the small homeland of the President of Belarus.
Alexandria is the small homeland of the President of Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko grew up and spent his young years here. During a visit to Alexandria, you can stroll through the exemplary streets of the famous Belarusian agro-town.
Those who wish will be able to see the parental home of Alexander Grigoryevich, the school where he studied. The local school museum still has a desk where the future President sat. The school also has an exhibition that tells about the childhood and school years of Alexander Lukashenko.
The Museum of Local History at the Alexandria School was established in 2001, and it is expanding and replenishing with new exhibits every year. For example, in 2024, a new exhibition was opened in the museum of the Alexandria School specifically for the 15th anniversary of the Kupala holiday. The Republican holiday Kupala is one of the brightest pages of the country's modern history.
The main hall consists of seven exhibits and is located in a modern school building. The museum tells the story of Alexandria, about its outstanding countrymen, about the youth and significant moments of Alexander Grigorievich's life, and more.
The visit to Alexandria should be completed with a walk to Trofimova Krinitsa. This is an amazing place with clean water, which was landscaped in 2013 by the decision of the President. It is known that back in the 20th century, the President's grandfather, Trofim Prokhorovich, built this building with bridges and a log cabin. Since then, she began to be called Trofimova. And earlier this place was called the Farewell, there was a chapel nearby. Here, in an ecologically clean natural area, you should come not only for clean water, but also to plunge into a spacious font, as well as to relax. Coordinates of the area: 54.343669,30.255722
