Vylazy. Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God.

A wooden Orthodox Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God has been built in the center of the village of Vylazy, Pinsk district. The church was built during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1787. The temple was built as a Greek Catholic and belonged to the Uniates. At that time, the vast majority of village churches in Belarus belonged to the Uniates.

After joining the Russian Empire in 1795, the parish converted from Uniatism to the Orthodox faith. This happened under the priest Matvey Kaminsky. During the Great Patriotic War, part of the church buildings were dismantled by the Nazi invaders. After the war in Soviet times, the church was closed in the 1960s and in 1963 the community was removed from state registration.

On the eve of the collapse of the Soviet Union, the church was handed over to Orthodox believers, and in the summer of 1990, Bishop Stefan of Pinsk and Luninets rededicated the church.

The church consists of three main parts: the vestibule, the prayer hall and the apse. The vestibule is small, covered with a gable roof, attached to the main volume. The prayer hall is covered with a four-pitched roof and is completed with an octagonal drum with a dome. The pentagonal apse is covered with a multi-faceted roof with a two-tiered drum with a dome.

In the 19th century, a two-tiered bell tower was built in front of the church, which is covered with a four-pitched roof. Initially, the roof of the bell tower was covered with shingles.
