Velikaya Lipa. Intercession Church

In the town of Velikaya Lipa, the manor of the Obukhovich family was built, and on the ancient cemetery, the Uniate Church - the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The temple was built in 1773. Masonry. After the abolition of the union, it was handed over to Orthodox believers. In the 19th century, a wooden building of a parish school was erected near the church. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the church was renovated. Now active.

Pokrovsky Church is a monument of Baroque architecture. In plan, the building is rectangular, which ends with a semicircular apse. Hall type temple. Choirs with a balustrade are located on 2 columns. A brick bell tower is built to the left of the church. Several ancient bells are installed on the bell tower. To the right of the church is the chapel of the family of Obukhovich, which was built in the 19th century in the style of classicism. The cemetery with the church is surrounded by a brick fence with towers stylized as castle fortifications. From the Pokrovsky church, you can see the Obukhovich's manor well.
