Snov. Palace of the 19th century

There is a palace-park architectural complex of the 19th century, built by the Rdultovskys, in the town of Snov in the Nesvizh region. The first palace was built in 1760 by Jan Hryzastom Rdultowski, who once hosted the King of the Republic of Poland, Stanislav Poniatowski. The new manor house was built on the bank of the Snovka brook under Kazimierz Rdultovsky, who founded a cloth factory and his residence with a winter garden and a gallery here. Since 1854, the palace in Snov together with the land passed to Baron Gustav Harting, whose family owned the estate until 1939. In the 1920s, Baron Henrik Harting adapted the palace to the needs of the Polish border guard corps. And the baron himself lived in one of the outbuildings. In Soviet times, a military hospital was located here. Recently, the palace was bought by a private person. Restoration is planned. The estate had the shape of a rectangle with an area of about 37 hectares and included a palace, a landscaped park with a pond. The length of the palace is 140 meters. The main entrance to the palace is decorated with a four-column portico using the Ionic order. The palace has a ceremonial hall, the area of which exceeds 100 square meters. m. At the moment, at the entrance to the territory of the estate, there is a guard who lets you into the territory of the park. And the palace is closed to visitors for now.
