Rechitsa. Holy Trinity Church.
During the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the first church was built in Rechitsa. The Minsk and Troki voivode, Rechitsa elder Alexander Sluzhka founded a church and a Dominican monastery.
After the anti-Russian uprising, the monastery was closed in 1832, and the wooden church was destroyed by fire in 1862. Until 1902, Catholic services were held in a private house.
Since 1893, the Catholic parish in Rechitsa was headed by a young and energetic priest Lipinsky, who began to take care of the construction of a new church in the city. And by 1903, a brick church of the Holy Trinity was built in the city center. The temple was built of red brick in the neo-Gothic style. The building is a three-nave basilica with one multi-tiered tower dominating the surrounding area. The entrance to the church is marked by a portal with a wimperg . Buttresses create dynamics and rhythm of the side facades.
During the Soviet era, the church was closed. In the late 1990s, it was handed over to the faithful again. Repairs were made. The church is active.
