Description
In 2007, in the historical district of the city, in a renovated building that is an architectural monument of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, an art gallery began operating, which in 2015 was named after a famous local native, Alexander Anatolyevich Isachyov.
There are two halls in the gallery. One of them constantly exhibits paintings and graphic works by Alexander Isachyov from the collection of the Rechitsa Museum of Local Lore. This collection is the only state collection of works by this artist in Belarus.

A.A. Isachyov Art Gallery
The name of Alexander Anatolyevich Isachyov is well known to connoisseurs of painting both in Belarus and abroad. In his short life, he created about 500 paintings and hundreds of graphic sheets. His works are in museums and private collections in Western Europe, the Middle East, the USA, Russia and Belarus.
The funds of the Rechitsa Museum of Local Lore include 5 paintings and 25 graphic works by Isachyov, as well as a memorial complex consisting of more than a hundred exhibits.
The largest owner of the artist's legacy was collector Georgy Mikhailov from St. Petersburg. The largest private collection of Isachev's works in Belarus belongs to Oleg Orlov from Minsk.
Currently, the works of Alexander Isachyov can be seen in the art gallery of the Rechitsa Museum of Local Lore.
Numerous articles have been written about the artist's life and work, television and radio broadcasts have been filmed, catalogs and albums have been published. In 1987, a documentary film "Don't cry for me..." was created at the Belarusfilm film studio.
Temporary exhibitions from the collections of the Museum of Local Lore, other museums and private collections are also held in the halls of the gallery. Over the years, the gallery has implemented major exhibition projects of various scales, including an exhibition of paintings by Mikhail Savitsky "Numbers on the Heart", an exhibition of works by Anna Krivichanina "Window to the World", lithographs by Svetlana Zhukova, exhibitions "Treasures of the church libraries of the Gomel and Turov dioceses" and "Dneprovsky Ferry".
In 2022, the gallery became the venue for the Republican cultural and Sports festival "Vytoki. Krok da Alimpu".
Anniversary exhibitions of Alexander Isachyov's works from private collections and the Rechitsa Museum of Local Lore were held in 2007, 2010 and 2015.
Joint and solo exhibitions of Rechitsa artists are also popular: Vladimir Gursky, Maxim Pozharitsky, Dmitry Atamanchuk, Vadim Strelchen and others.
