Description
In the small town of Radoshkovichi, Molodechno district, there are many monuments and memorable places: a church, a church, a Castle hill, a synagogue, an old cemetery and several monuments to Belarusian writers. On Sovetskaya Street, near the Church of the Holy Trinity, monuments to classics of Belarusian literature – Yanka Kupala and Jadvigin Sh.
Anton Levitsky is the real name of Jadvigin Sh., lived near Radoshkovich in village Karpilovka. He worked in Radoshkovichi as an assistant pharmacist.
The monument looks like a boulder, on which a commemorative plaque with an inscription is installed.

Radoshkovichi. Monument to Yadvigin Sh.
In the small town of Radoshkovichi, on the central Sovetskaya Street, there is a monument to the writer Yadvigin Sh.
His real name is Anton Ivanovich Levitsky (1869-1922), a Belarusian poet and novelist, publicist, translator, playwright, literary critic and politician. He is one of the initiators of Belarusian fiction. The writer was born in Mogilev region in the town of Dobosna, Kirovsky district. Then the Levitsky family moved to the Karpilovka village, which is located near Radoshkovichi.
In Radoshkovichi, A. Levitsky worked as an assistant pharmacist. Here he is a member of the local intelligentsia circle. He takes part in literary evenings.
Anton Levitsky is building a large house with a mezzanine and a veranda in Karpilovka. He collects a good library in foreign languages and in Belarusian. The young poet Yanka Kupala often came here to visit Yadvigin Sh. and took Belarusian books from the library to read. Famous Belarusian writers and figures, including Maxim Bogdanovich, Zmitrok Byadulya and Vladislav Golubok, came to visit Karpilovka.
At that time, Radoshkovichi was a significant cultural and literary environment of Belarusian culture.
The monument to Jadvigin Sh is installed on Sovetskaya Street near the Church of the Holy Trinity. On the boulder there is a plaque with the following inscription: "In Radoshkovichi in 1891 - 1897, a famous Belarusian writer, one of the initiators of National Fiction, Jadvigin Sh. (Anton Ivanovich Levitsky, 1868-1922) lived and worked as an assistant to a pharmacist".
