As you drive from Lyakhщvichy to Grushevka - before the very beginning of the estate, on the right side, there is a field behind which a brick chapel is visible after 500 meters near the forest. It is not just a temple, but a chapel - a burial place of the noble family of Reitans. Near the chapel there is a memorial sign in honor of our national hero Tadeusz Reitan.

Grushevka. Reitan's Chapel.

The chapel-burial house was built in the beginning of the 20th century from bricks. The chapel is surrounded by a brick fence with a Gothic gate. During the time of the Polish state in the 1930s, a monument to Tadeusz Reitan (1740-1780), a national hero of Belarus and Poland, was erected in front of the chapel. During the division of the Commonwealth of Nations, Tadeusz Reitan protested against the destruction of his homeland and, as a sign of protest, laid down on the cross before leaving with the words: "Trample me, don't trample the state!" In honor of Tadeusz Reitan, a famous Polish artist painted the famous painting "Reitan" in the 19th century. Reitan died in his estate in Grushevka, and was buried in Liakhovichy. To date, his grave has been lost. The chapel - burial place - a monument of Neo-Gothic architecture. The building is rectangular in plan with a three-sided apse. The building is reinforced with buttresses. At the entrance to the chapel there is a staircase to the basement. The chapel is in a dilapidated condition. Restoration required. A few years ago, a commemorative sign was erected near the chapel in honor of Tadeusz Reitan.
