The Holy Dormition Church in Germanovichi is a unique authentic example of Old Believer architecture.

The simple and concise architecture of the Holy Dormition Church emphasizes its spiritual significance. The rectangular log cabin, the porch that highlights the main entrance, and the bell tower that rises up create a harmonious and memorable image. The two decorative domes that decorate the temple add to it elements of the retrospective Russian style, referring to ancient traditions.

The Old Believers' Holy Dormition Church is not just a building, it is a living story embodied in a tree. It is part of the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, testifying to the centuries-old history of the Old Believers in these lands.

After many years of neglect, worship services in the church were resumed in 2017. It became a real event for the local community and all those who appreciate spiritual traditions.

Today, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Ancient Orthodox Pomeranian Church is reopened to believers, giving them the opportunity to touch their roots and continue the spiritual path of their ancestors.

A visit to the Old Believers' Holy Dormition Church in Germanovichi is a unique opportunity to see with your own eyes an authentic example of Old Believer architecture, feel the atmosphere of silence and peace, and learn more about the history and culture of this distinctive religious movement. This is a place where traditions come to life and are passed down from generation to generation.
