The building of the former Noble Assembly at 45 Sovetskaya Street combines elements of late classicism and Art Nouveau.
The city mansion at 45 Sovetskaya Street was built in 1914 and is a two-story brick building with an L-shaped plan. The eclectic architectural style to which this house belongs implies a combination of various architectural elements.
The mansion has elements of late classicism and Art Nouveau. The walls of the main facade are divided by tall rectangular windows, and the symmetry is emphasized by the central entrance and columns on the balconies. The columns probably served an aesthetic role, and also serve as a triumphal decoration of the building.
The center of the main facade is highlighted by a portal, which ends with a triangular pediment. The asymmetry in the composition of the main facade is introduced by the risalite located at the junction of the wings of the building. The building has a corridor layout, and the main staircase is located in the center of the wing facing Sovetskaya Street.
From the moment of its construction until 1917, the Noble Assembly met in the mansion. This self-governing body existed in the Russian Empire from 1785 until the revolution. Meetings were held every three years, and important issues of the city's life were resolved at them. The delegates at the meeting were representatives of the noble community of the Bobruisk district, and the head of the assembly received the title of leader. The county leader was elected for three years and served without remuneration.
Currently, the building houses the Center for Technical Creativity of students of the Department of Education of the Leninsky district Administration of the city of Bobruisk.
