The Port Arthur House is not just a building, but the living history of Bobruisk.

Among the modern buildings and signage, the Port Arthur House stands out for its intricate architecture. It attracts lovers of beautiful photographs and connoisseurs of history.

The origin of its name is shrouded in mystery. There are two main versions: the first connects him with the construction of the house during the Russian-Japanese war, when the defense of Port Arthur was widely known; the second claims that before the revolution, the house housed a "brothel" owned by a certain Arthur.

After passing through the arch, the visitor enters the courtyard, as if transported to another century. The house, built around the perimeter of a rectangle, forms an enclosed courtyard with two entrances and exits located opposite each other. The high walls are made of durable factory-made Rosenberg bricks, which is confirmed by the brand "ROSENBERG" in a rectangular frame on the bricks themselves. There is a belief that touching the wall of a house and making a wish will definitely come true.

Despite its advanced age, the Port Arthur house remains residential. There are often guided tours for curious tourists. An atmosphere of comfort and cleanliness reigns inside: the entrance has been carefully renovated, the windows are decorated with curtains, and the bright light of the bulbs creates a feeling of homely warmth.

The Port Arthur House is not just a building, but the living history of Bobruisk, a mysterious and attractive place that has preserved its unique charm through the decades.
