Description

The zoo in the city of Baranovichi, whose official name is “Animal Park,” is a private project that grew out of a small recreation area and living area created in 2011 at the furniture company Diprise LLC.
It occupies an area of 344 hectares, at the moment there are two locations: pedestrian zone No. 1 “Cossack World” with a length of 1.5 kilometers and pedestrian zone No. 2 “Lyasnyya Tayamnitsy”, which is currently located at 2 kilometers. The second part will open in 2022 and is a petting zoo, many of whose inhabitants can be fed and petted. Here, animals live in spacious open-air enclosures, and emus and fallow deer walk right among the guests. The park plans to further expand and create two safari zones.
Dipriz is also a zoolandscape park: all types of trees that are found in Belarus grow there.

Baranovichi. Zoo "Diprise".

About 10 years ago, a recreation area was created on the furniture production site for the company’s employees, where they could relax and take a break from work during breaks at work. The territory consisted of two gazebos and closed enclosures for birds and small monkeys, squirrels, etc. Subsequently, it was decided to create a small recreation area near the enterprise for workers, where they could go for walks with families with children on weekends, which and it was done.

In October 2016, the territory increased noticeably, and there were many more animals. Construction continued, and already at this stage everyone had the opportunity to visit the park. The official opening took place on July 2, 2020. Then guests could visit only one zone of the park, which is now called “Cossack World”. Two and a half years later, on February 12, 2022, the second location in the safari format “Forest Tayamnitsy” opened. Now this zone occupies about 2 kilometers, and upon completion of construction the creators plan to occupy all 4.

The history of the park's development continues to this day. The existing zones will be expanded and improved, and two more locations will be added by approximately 2025-2027 - a safari park of 8 kilometers and a wild safari of 150 hectares.

Currently, the territory of 344 hectares is home to ornamental birds and rare animals, and almost all types of trees that grow in Belarus are planted. The park is being improved not only for the safe living of animals, but also for a pleasant pastime for vacationers. Recreation areas with oak gazebos and benches, contact areas, children's complexes for different age categories, and many photo zones have been built. On the territory there are rest rooms, mother and child rooms, recreation areas for the elderly, comfortable restrooms, cafes and souvenir shops.

Today it is the largest zoolandscape park in Belarus with an extensive exhibition of animals and birds. The Diprise Animal Park is inhabited by both inhabitants of Belarusian forests, fields and rivers, and more exotic representatives of fauna from all over the world. Artiodactyls are widely represented. You will get acquainted with different types of goats, sheep and deer, see elk, bison, yak, llama, camel, mouflon, and also learn what zebu and watussi look like. In other enclosures you will find kangaroos, lemurs, mongooses, skunks, possums and meerkats, visit the civet, kinkajou and Patagonian mara. Among the primates you can see the brown capuchin, the Javan macaque monkey, the squirrel squirrel and the red-handed tamarin. Birds of prey are also present in the zoo: white owl, eagle owl, barn owl, buzzard, as well as exotic birds: vulture guinea fowl, colorful pheasants and parrots. You can see the bullfinch, turtle dove, jay, stork, gray crane, and mute swan up close.

In 2023, “Diprise” doubled its territory and populated the park with new rare and unique representatives of the fauna world: for example, the Asian buffalo, red kangaroo, ratska sheep, Sudanese goats and others appeared here. Like many other zoos, the Baranavichy Animal Park has a guardianship program: if you wish and are able, you can help maintain any resident.

All year round, on the territory of Lyasnyya Tayamnitsy, zoo visitors can ride horses, donkeys and ponies. You can rent catamarans on the ponds; during the boat trip you can treat fish and waterfowl.
