Description
This is the only memorial museum-apartment in Belarus dedicated to the poet. It is located in a building built in the Art Nouveau style by architect Heinrich Guy as an apartment building, recognized as an architectural monument of the early 20th century, in the apartment where the national poet of Belarus Petrus Brovka lived from 1951 to 1980. The museum was opened on July 10, 1980 and continues to receive guests today.

Petrus Brovka State Literary Museum
The museum's exposition introduces the life and work of the famous Belarusian poet. It includes two parts: a documentary and a memorial.
The documentary part tells about the poet's life and work, showing visitors photographs, manuscripts, letters, as well as artwork and illustrations for his works.
The memorial part is a library and an office of Petrus Brovka, where the interior is preserved in the same form as during the poet's lifetime. The library contains books from ancient times to 1980, reflecting Brovka's literary preferences.
The museum actively organizes exhibitions, lectures, discussions, presentations and literary evenings.
Every year, the museum hosts the 1.1.1 event dedicated to the birthday of the poet and three prominent Belarusian writers from Ushachy district: Petrus Brovka, Vasil Bykov and Rygor Borodulin.
In 2014, the Petrus Brovka Literary Museum became a branch of the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature.
