Minoity. Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Andrew Boboli.
On the way from Lida to Berezovka there is an ancient place called Minoity. If you drive a little away from the highway, you will see the wooden Catholic church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Andrew Boboli.
After the Peace of Riga in 1921, the place turned out to be part of the Polish state and at that time Catholic believers organized in Minoites. The construction of the Catholic church began in 1927. Initially, the church received the status of a branch at the parish in Lida. Since 1929, an independent parish has operated at the church. The new church was consecrated in July 1929 and has a double title.
In Soviet times, the Catholic shrine was not closed, although there was not always a local church.
The church building is rectangular in plan. Covered gable roof. The roof is metal-tiled. A two-stored four-tiered bell tower was built above the entrance, which is completed with a high spire. A small porch is attached to the main facade. There is a signature above the altar.
The interior is divided into three naves. There are three altars. The main altar is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of the Lord Jesus, the side one is dedicated to St. Andrew Boboli. The third altar is located in a stone chapel, which was built in the 1990s and consecrated in honor of the Holy Family.
A metal bell tower has been built nearby.
